The actual psychological personality of a person is referred to as the soul or ‘inner-self’ of a person. Each one of us has a hidden self within us, but we are not always aware of it. Your soul can be described as the mind, will, and emotions of a person. A human being thinks that it is their consciousness that leads their actions. Actually, our inner self-guides our behavior in our day-to-day life. This self is constructed and undergoes a transformation with the passage of time as we experience new things. Our spirit exists apart from our soul or inner self, but together, they are our identity in the world.

Another way of exploring our inner-self is to check what is our attitude towards life. Many of us are prone to pessimistic thinking, which is the reason why people fail to realize the possibility of a solution to a problem. Taking on a positive and constructive attitude will give an individual the strength to face the problems of life and seek a solution to the same. Let’s look at three main ways we can improve the way we view our inner-self.

  1. Healing is not just for the body. In I Thessalonians 5:23 says “… and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” This verse shows us how important it is to have our whole body be made whole and on the same energy level. How you think aids in curing disorders like insomnia, aches, depression, and various physical and mental ailments consciously.   2. Meditation is a good thing. Meditation is a method used to helps a person to think above their own individuality and think for the development of your mind, body, and soul. It is a three-way process that works through self-regulation, self-exploration, and self-liberation. It helps us to improve our concentration. This can lead us to a spiritual realization and bridges the gap between our real and genuine Moreover, by clearing our minds not to focus on our mistakes and weaknesses, it can bring about a transformation in our personality. Last but not the least, it reveals to us the truth of what we are really seeking for our life and helps in achieving better focus and tranquility of mind. Meditation also provides relaxation and has been known to reduce stress.
  3. Self-love is a method of transformation of our inner self. Every person has the desire that the thing or the person he loves should always be perfect. Therefore, if a person will love themselves, then, more likely, they will make all the efforts to transform and develop themselves to become a better person. Start by giving yourself the gift of time. Go on a date with you. Celebrate and reward yourself because you deserve it. Your outer self will only reflect how you view your inner-self.

To explore our inner-self, an individual should look within themselves and analyze their own personality. This way you can make a conscious checklist of your own strengths and weaknesses. After this, it will be easy to take on to the methods listed above, that add on to our strengths and subtract our weaknesses. You will then become more attracted towards life and to life.
